Hand presser — Bauchi

Great opportunity: we are hiring a hand presser in Bauchi, Bauchi State. You will work at a textile finishing unit. Your main tasks: • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure You should have: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. ₦270,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
