Core maker — Tofa

Vacancy available: we are hiring a core maker in Tofa, Kano State. Day-to-day duties: • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles Requirements: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Pay around ₦280,000 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
