Join our team: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Polk County, Florida. You will be based at an open-cast mine. Your main tasks: • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site Ideal candidate: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
