Garment presser — Delta County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a garment presser in Delta County, Texas. You will work in a busy laundry. Your main tasks: • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Give each garment a final press before packing • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots You should have: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Pay around $2,700 per month, based on your experience.
