Deboner — Chambers County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a deboner in Chambers County, Texas. The job is at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. The role involves season and marinate meat on request; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking. Ideal candidate: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
