Trainee butcher wanted in Baker County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Baker County, Oregon. You will be based at a halal meat counter. On the job you will handle: • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights What we are looking for: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate Part-time with flexible hours.
