Crane operator wanted in Egbado North

Immediate opening: we are hiring a crane operator in Egbado North, Ogun State. You will be based at a shipbuilding yard. Ideal candidate: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Strong attention to safety and load limits Your main tasks: • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
