Great opportunity: we are hiring a halal butcher in Iguegben, Edo. The role involves break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
