Laundry presser — Hawul

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a laundry presser in Hawul, Borno State. You will work at a garment factory. On the job you will handle: • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots Requirements: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases 5+ years on the tools preferred.
