Crane rigger • Odeda, Ogun State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a crane rigger in Odeda, Ogun State. The job is at a busy construction site. On a typical shift you will inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
