Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Levy County, Florida. You should have: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Basic cake decorating and piping skills Day to day you will keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
