You should have: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets The role involves: • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure 3+ years on the tools preferred.
