Now hiring: we are hiring a banquet server in Gyalshing, Sikkim. Ideally you have basic food hygiene and FSSAI awareness; good knowledge of the menu, ingredients and beverages; basic numeracy for handling cash, bills and change. Your main tasks: • Handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager • Explain the day's specials and recommend dishes • Greet guests, seat them and present the menu • Raise the bill on the POS and settle cash and card payments • Punch orders through to the kitchen as a KOT (kitchen order ticket) • Lay table covers with cutlery, napkins, glassware and crockery At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
