You should bring good depth perception and hand-eye coordination; able to read load charts and lifting plans; understanding of hand and radio signals. You will climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; work out the load weight and the lifting radius.
