Immediate opening: we are hiring a finishing presser in Hocking County, Ohio. The job is at a garment factory. The role involves operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron. You should have: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases 6+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
