Now hiring: we are hiring a plant operator in Solihull, England. The job is at a road and highway construction project. The role involves carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains. Ideal candidate: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
