Immediate opening: punch press operator (Florida)

Now hiring: we are hiring a punch press operator in Duval County, Florida. The job is in a sheet metal stamping unit. On a typical shift you will feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses We offer $3,700 per month plus benefits.
