Requirements: • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage You will monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter.
