Great opportunity: we are hiring a short order cook in Ogle County, Illinois. The job is at a cloud kitchen. On a typical shift you will prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs. Requirements: • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen 1+ years on the tools preferred.
