Port container crane operator — Hardee County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Hardee County, Florida. You will be based on a bridge and infrastructure project. Day to day you will carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity. Ideal candidate: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
