JCB operator • Clinton County, Illinois

We are recruiting: we are hiring a JCB operator in Clinton County, Illinois. You will be based at a road and highway construction project. Day-to-day duties: • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger You should have: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
