Now hiring: we are hiring a waiter in Pulaski County, Georgia. The job is at a busy restaurant. You should have: • Prior experience as a waiter in a restaurant or hotel • Good knowledge of the menu, ingredients and beverages • Clear spoken communication and a polite, friendly manner On a typical shift you will punch orders through to the kitchen as a KOT (kitchen order ticket); handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager; coordinate order timing with the kitchen and the bar; carry loaded trays and serve plated dishes to the right table; explain the day's specials and recommend dishes; polish glasses, cutlery and crockery during mise en place.
