Ideal candidate: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout Day-to-day duties: • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting 4+ years on the tools preferred.
