Vacancy available: we are hiring a press operator in Blackpool, England. Requirements: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses On a typical shift you will fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around £6,100 per project, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
