Vacuum press operator — Okehi

We are recruiting: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Okehi, Kogi State. The job is in a garment export house. You should have: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory On the job you will handle: • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Give each garment a final press before packing • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts Part-time with flexible hours.
