Catering cook — Will County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a catering cook in Will County, Illinois. You will work at a busy restaurant kitchen. What we are looking for: • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards You will prepare the mise en place before each service; taste and adjust seasoning for consistency; check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
