We are recruiting: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Logan County, Illinois. You will work in a garment export house. What we are looking for: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Day to day you will sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
