Great opportunity: port container crane operator (Michigan)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Cass County, Michigan. You will be based on a busy construction site. On a typical shift you will park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports. You should have: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Able to read load charts and lifting plans A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
