Now hiring: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Wilbarger County, Texas. You will be based at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Day-to-day duties: • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case Ideal candidate: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
