Heavy equipment operator • Lawrence County, Illinois

We are recruiting: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Lawrence County, Illinois. You will work on a housing development site. Requirements: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites Day-to-day duties: • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble Rotating shifts.
