Lawn care technician — Bronx County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lawn care technician in Bronx County, New York. You will be based on a golf course. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage On a typical shift you will lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings.
