Immediate opening: gang bricklayer (Plateau State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Jos North, Plateau State. The job is at a renovation and extension job. Requirements: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Day-to-day duties: • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb Part-time with flexible hours.
