Now hiring: crane rigger (Delta State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane rigger in Ukwuani, Delta State. The job is at a busy construction site. On the job you will handle: • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites 1+ years on the tools preferred. ₦175,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
