Great opportunity: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Skagit County, Washington. The job is in a sheet metal stamping unit. What we are looking for: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading On the job you will handle: • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
