Urgent requirement: we are hiring a PVC window fabricator in Reading, England. You should have: • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads Day to day you will clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; take site measurements of openings before fabrication; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame.
