Plant operator wanted in Lee County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a plant operator in Lee County, Illinois. On a typical shift you will backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds. What we are looking for: • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat 3+ years on the tools preferred.
