Now hiring: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Walton County, Florida. The job is on a bridge and infrastructure project. On the job you will handle: • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift You should have: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
