Commis chef — Sheffield

Join our team: we are hiring a commis chef in Sheffield, England. You will check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat. What we are looking for: • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking 3+ years on the tools preferred.
