Cnc lathe operator — Eureka County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Eureka County, Nevada. The job is in a job-work machining unit. Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred The role involves: • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) Full-time, day shift.
