Bakery assistant • Kent County, Rhode Island

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Kent County, Rhode Island. You will work at a café with an on-site bakery. Your main tasks: • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream Requirements: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • 2+ years' experience as a baker Six days a week, one day off. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
