Heavy goods vehicle driver • Lau, Taraba State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in Lau, Taraba State. The role involves: • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays What we are looking for: • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
