Trailer driver — Wukari

Now hiring: we are hiring a trailer driver in Wukari, Taraba State. The job is on long-haul routes across the country. Day to day you will carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; report defects and book the unit in for servicing; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; present documents at weighbridges and check posts; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock. Ideal candidate: • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Valid digital tachograph card Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
