Immediate opening: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Guri, Jigawa State. The job is in a steel fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Understanding of hand and radio signals • A good head for heights for tower crane work Day-to-day duties: • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground Performance bonus on top of base pay.
