Immediate opening: nursery worker (Jigawa State)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a nursery worker in Maigatari, Jigawa State. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish Your main tasks: • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
