Rough terrain crane operator — Kane County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Kane County, Illinois. Ideal candidate: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Current medical and eyesight certificate The role involves grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; work out the load weight and the lifting radius. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
