Estate gardener — Oglethorpe County

Join our team: we are hiring an estate gardener in Oglethorpe County, Georgia. On the job you will handle: • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers Ideal candidate: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Happy to work outdoors in all weather $120 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
