Heavy equipment operator (dozer) — Maui County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Maui County, Hawaii. You will be based at a civil contractor's yard. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes Day to day you will carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
