We are recruiting: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Massac County, Illinois. You will work at a shipbuilding yard. You should have: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Able to read load charts and lifting plans On the job you will handle: • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
