Banksman — Offa

Immediate opening: we are hiring a banksman in Offa, Kwara State. You will be based at a container port. Day to day you will select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; read lift plans and method statements before starting. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather 6+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. ₦270,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
