Laundry presser — Agwara

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a laundry presser in Agwara, Niger State. You will be based in a busy laundry. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine On a typical shift you will clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
